New BZKF Lighthouse Image-Guidance in Local Therapies

🎉 New BZKF Lighthouse Funded! 🚀
Local therapies are a cornerstone of cancer management, and we are thrilled to announce that the Bayerisches Zentrum für Krebsforschung (BZKF) has funded its latest Lighthouse on Image-Guidance in Local Therapies! This initiative will focus on tracking and characterizing lesions over both short- and long-term time scales, driving innovation in precision cancer treatment.
I am honored to serve as Speaker, alongside Deputy Speaker Michael Ingrisch and Scientific Coordinator Christian Thieke , and I would like to sincerely thank the BZKF for its support.
With a strong team of PIs from all six Bavarian University Hospitals, we have the expertise to work across multiple modalities and develop synergies that will advance local therapies and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
🎓 Join our mission! We’re looking for doctoral students in medical imaging, computer science, and biomedical engineering to help shape the future of cancer treatment. Please reach out to the PIs listed below and look out for upcoming job announcements.
